Jacob Hibel is the Director of CalPEPAL, Associate Professor of Sociology, and Deputy Director of the Center for Poverty & Inequality Research at the University of California, Davis. His research and teaching focus on issues related to education, child development, social stratification, immigration, and quantitative methods.
